STATE TAX CONTROVERSY REPRESENTATION
Cataldo Tax Law represents clients during protest, administrative appeals, and litigation in disputes with the California Franchise Tax Board, the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, the California Employment Development Department, the California State Board of Equalization, the San Francisco Treasurer and Tax Collector, and other state or local taxing agencies.
We appear before the Office of Tax Appeals, the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, Assessment Appeals Boards, and other quasi-judicial administrative bodies throughout the country.
We engage in settlement discussions with tax agency executives and government tax counsel throughout the dispute process.
We provide representation in state tax litigation where disputes cannot be resolved through the administrative appeal or settlement process.
